Taipei, October 16^th, 2023 – Energy Taiwan, organised annually by the TAITRA and SEMI, is the most iconic international exhibition for the renewable energy industry in Taiwan. The event will be held from October 18 to 20 at TAINEX 1. Formosa 3, jointly developed by Corio Generation and TotalEnergies, will also participate in the event.

Formosa 3 will be hosting a three-day exhibition, where visitors can learn about the development of Formosa 3 through mini-themed seminars. These seminars will cover a range of topics including project development, underwater foundations, vessel management and port logistics, dolphin-friendly construction method, site investigation and survey, and offshore wind funding structure. In addition, Formosa 3 has arranged special mocktails and interactive programs, allowing the public to immerse themselves in the event and experience the majestic view of standing on the wind turbine while overlooking the entire wind farm.

Formosa 3 is a world-class offshore wind project to be delivered in multiple phases in Changhua County on the central-western coast of Taiwan, with a total capacity of around 2 GW. The 600 MW Haiding 2 wind farm has successfully been allocated the grid capacity during Taiwan’s Round 3 auctions at the end of 2022 and has announced the contract signing with MOEA in August 2023.
